My Story\and how I believe our mistakes nudge us closer to G
My Story/intro.
I am the ninth child from a family of seven sisters and five brothers. My parents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Mack B. Johnson of De Ridder, Louisiana.
My childhood was filled with images of my parents seeking and striving as best they knew how to love and trust the Creator to supply our every need~ and He did. So much of who they became in this life is evident in me. I am brave, crazy cool and passionate about people, family and sharing the Word of the Lord. I am not perfect, nor do I desire to be. I am learning to manage my mind, body and spirit in ways that protect my soul and empower my purpose for which I was born. I mess up a lot. But God.
My parents were my first teachers and one very important lesson that stays at the forefront of my mind is to embrace my imperfect journey here on earth and never judge others. If you and I were to share our journey thus far over a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate~ we would find that we have more in common than not. We are all connected some way, some how: I need you, you need me and we need the Creator.
I believe our mistakes create a deep desire for us to know God for ourselves. Not what someone else said about Him. What the ups and downs of life teach us when we turn to Him. I have so much more to share with you.

Dear Lord, our eyes are windows to our soul. May all who stand face to face with us~ whether in good times or bad and look into our eyes~ always see you. Selah!
"But my eyes are toward you , O God, my Lord; in you I seek refuge; leave me not defenseless!" Psalm 141:8
